DLA Land and Maritime has issued a solicitation which will result in a three year contract for supply of 12 volt lead-acid batteries.  These batteries are used in the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC).  DLA will issue periodic delivery orders against the contract.

This battery, NSN 6140-01-337-0210 has an Ultralife part number of UBBL02-01.  The battery dimensions are 5″ x 2.4″ x 4.4″.  Past suppliers include Ultralife, Advanced product services and New Beginnings Capital Partnership.  It was last sold to DLA for $261.25 in quantity of 96.  There is no set quantity in the solicitation but DLA estimates that they will purchase 309 batteries each year for a total of 927.

Based on past procurement history we estimate the value of this contract at $242,178.  All offers are due by February 28, 2022.

DLA Aviation will be issuing a long-term contract for the supply of antenna cable used in the CS-13 Mine Resistant Vehicle.  They are soliciting two different cables.  The contract will have a period of five years against which DLA will issue periodic delivery orders.
